I've encountered a really annoying issue â there's a significant vibration when driving at speed, and I discovered that it's due to the driveshaft. The vibration is worse around 80-90 km/h. Forum discussions suggest it's probably due to imbalance.
I'm considering the best method to solve this:
Take the driveshaft off and get it balanced at a shop. This seems like the most reliable and precise method, but it's a lot of hassle â removing, transporting, waiting, and reinstalling it.
Balancing it directly on the vehicle. This approach involves special equipment to balance it on the car.
Has anyone tried balancing their driveshaft this way? I would appreciate hearing about your experiences and results. I appreciate any advice in advance! |
